Scrum Master

Role: Scrum Master

You will lead an Agile software delivery team on a long-term remote engagement. You’ll facilitate the team’s ceremonies, remove impediments, and help keep delivery aligned across individual contributors and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach Agile/Scrum practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Remove impediments that slow delivery; escalate quickly when blockers require it
• Partner with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy, refined, prioritized backlog
• Track and communicate delivery metrics (e.g., sprint progress, velocity) using Agile tooling such as Azure DevOps and/or Jira
• Provide status updates on risks, dependencies, and decisions to leadership and the team
• Represent the team to stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent (required)
• 5+ years as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software teams in a technical environment
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery tooling; Azure DevOps preferred
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or public-sector/government programs
• Familiarity with cloud delivery environments
