Scrum Master

Role Overview

Scrum Master to support Agile project management for cloud-related initiatives and operational work. Partner with Cloud Team leadership and multiple technical groups to drive delivery cadence, manage work tracking, and surface risks/impediments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other Agile events.
• Monitor sprint/operational progress; help track work completion, dependencies, service requests, operational priorities, and milestones.
• Identify and escalate risks, impediments, blocked work items, operational concerns, and schedule-impacting issues.
• Work with Cloud leadership to set priorities and coordinate operational requests, maintenance efforts, and service improvement initiatives across:
  • Cloud Operations
  • Cloud Engineering
  • Cloud Architecture
• Collaborate with technical teams, cloud engineers, architects, operations staff, vendors, and business stakeholders to document:
  • project scope, operational requirements, objectives, assumptions, dependencies, and deliverables
• Support business analysis/documentation to enable implementation, operational readiness, and change management.
• Maintain project artifacts and visibility assets: project documentation, status reports, sprint artifacts, risk logs, dashboards, operational metrics, and tracking systems.
• Prepare and present updates for leadership, stakeholders, governance meetings, and operational reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retros).
• Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks/methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience supporting Agile project management/Scrum delivery and/or operational coordination.
• Familiarity with SDLC.
• Experience using project management/ticketing/work tracking and collaboration tools.

Nice-to-Haves

• Cloud familiarity to effectively support cloud initiatives and communicate with technical stakeholders.
• Agile coaching certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader.

Logistics

• Remote role with ~25% travel as needed.
• Based in/serving Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (client need).
