Scrum Master - (US Citizens / Green Card Holders) -REMOTE ROLE but Need to be Onsite for Meetings only

Role Overview

Scrum Master / Project Manager for a long-term, ongoing project.

• Primarily remote, but you must be local to the Vienna, VA area to attend meetings onsite only.
• Works as a delivery coordinator aligned to Program Increment (PI) and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for Agile initiatives from intake through release.
• Ensure the backlog is well documented and prioritized with the Product Owner (PO).
• Coordinate between delivery teams and business stakeholders.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and remove blockers/impediments.
• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies:
  • Daily standups
  • Sprint planning
  • Backlog grooming
  • Sprint reviews/demos
  • Retrospectives
• Forecast delivery outcomes using estimation, velocity, and capacity planning.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead retrospective-driven actions to improve flow and quality.
• Shield teams from external disruptions while enabling effective collaboration.

Requirements

• Azure DevOps (ADO) experience.
• Finance systems knowledge.
• Ability to deliver Agile initiatives in alignment with PI and program/business objectives.
• Local to the Vienna, VA area for onsite meeting attendance.
