About the role

Role Overview

Senior IT Scrum Master for an insurance industry client. This is a fully remote (U.S.) W-2 contract role for an experienced Scrum Master who has led multiple Agile Scrum teams in enterprise IT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple Agile Scrum teams through the full project lifecycle
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including:
    • Daily standups
    • Sprint Planning
    • Backlog Grooming
    • Sprint Reviews/Demos
    • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Remove roadblocks and shield teams from external distractions
  • Coach teams on self-organization and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Track and manage risks, dependencies, issues, and project progress
  • Provide Agile metrics and reporting to leadership
  • Drive improvements in velocity, throughput, and delivery

Requirements

  • 5+ years leading Agile/Scrum teams in enterprise IT
  • Experience leading multiple Scrum teams simultaneously
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
  • Experience with CA Agile Rally
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum practices, SDLC, and project management
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating ceremonies and coaching teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Project
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large enterprise technology initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics, capacity planning, release planning, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Not considered if residing in: New York, Illinois, Minnesota, California, Nevada, or Washington
