About the role

Role Overview

Scrum Master to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and programs for a client in the United States (Remote). This is a contract (W2 only) role.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery leadership & execution: Own end-to-end delivery across multiple platforms and teams.
  • Planning: Create and manage integrated delivery plans (milestones, dependencies, timelines, success metrics).
  • Methodology selection: Tailor delivery approaches (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) to initiative needs.
  • Risk/issue management: Identify risks and constraints early, assess probability/severity/business impact, and drive mitigation plans.
  • Escalation & decision support: Resolve complex delivery challenges and provide escalation with options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Partner with business, product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders; translate complex topics into clear communication.
  • Facilitation: Enable decisions across teams with competing priorities; build trusted relationships through influence.
  • Quality, security, and customer focus: Champion continuous improvement and proactively address security, compliance, and operational considerations; keep teams focused on outcomes and value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Significant experience leading complex enterprise technology projects/programs.
  • Proven delivery success on high-visibility or high-risk initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing delivery across multiple teams/platforms/systems.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, drive clarity, and stabilize complex initiatives.
  • PMI PMP (or similar) certification.

AI Tooling Expectations (Contract Requirement)

  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools for at least 90% weekly usage (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, other approved GenAI tools).
  • Apply AI to improve coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
  • Continuously learn and incorporate new AI capabilities to increase delivery quality and velocity.
