About the role
Role Overview
Scrum Master to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and programs for a client in the United States (Remote). This is a contract (W2 only) role.
Responsibilities
- Delivery leadership & execution: Own end-to-end delivery across multiple platforms and teams.
- Planning: Create and manage integrated delivery plans (milestones, dependencies, timelines, success metrics).
- Methodology selection: Tailor delivery approaches (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) to initiative needs.
- Risk/issue management: Identify risks and constraints early, assess probability/severity/business impact, and drive mitigation plans.
- Escalation & decision support: Resolve complex delivery challenges and provide escalation with options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
- Stakeholder engagement: Partner with business, product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders; translate complex topics into clear communication.
- Facilitation: Enable decisions across teams with competing priorities; build trusted relationships through influence.
- Quality, security, and customer focus: Champion continuous improvement and proactively address security, compliance, and operational considerations; keep teams focused on outcomes and value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience).
- Significant experience leading complex enterprise technology projects/programs.
- Proven delivery success on high-visibility or high-risk initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing delivery across multiple teams/platforms/systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to anticipate problems, drive clarity, and stabilize complex initiatives.
- PMI PMP (or similar) certification.
AI Tooling Expectations (Contract Requirement)
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools for at least 90% weekly usage (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, other approved GenAI tools).
- Apply AI to improve coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows.
- Continuously learn and incorporate new AI capabilities to increase delivery quality and velocity.
