About the role

Role: Scrum Master

Location: 100% Remote (Contract; based out of Seattle, WA)

Overview

Support a high-profile enterprise initiative in a regulated financial services environment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic product and platform enhancements, including integration efforts involving third-party services, APIs, and customer-facing digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives
  • Support program-level planning and backlog refinement
  • Coordinate execution across multiple teams and disciplines in a scaled Agile framework
  • Identify, track, and communicate RAID items (risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies)
  • Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to align on priorities and objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase delivery predictability and team effectiveness
  • Monitor delivery progress and maintain visibility using Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Remove obstacles and help teams stay focused on sprint and program goals

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting Agile software delivery teams
  • Financial services experience (banking, lending, payments, credit cards)
  • SAFe certification and/or CSM
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and metrics
  • Experience managing risks, dependencies, and program-level coordination
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with API integrations and third-party vendor integrations
  • Configuration initiatives
  • Digital product/UI-related projects
  • Experience within enterprise PMO/EPMO or large-scale delivery organizations
