Scrum Master

Role Overview

Synechron is hiring a Scrum Master / Project Manager in Piscataway, NJ to support Agile delivery and vulnerability remediation efforts across multiple technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure remediation backlogs are groomed, prioritized, and aligned with agreed milestones.
• Track sprint performance metrics including velocity, burndown, and remediation throughput.
• Coordinate cross-team work across CloudOps, Infrastructure Engineering, and DBA teams.
• Identify, track, and escalate blockers impacting vulnerability remediation.
• Manage cross-team dependencies to ensure timely resolution.
• Facilitate risk reviews and mitigation planning.
• Produce weekly and monthly dashboards, tracking KPIs and milestones.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT services or consulting (preferably production support).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.
• Experience managing Agile delivery for Infrastructure, Security, or Technology Operations programs.
• Strong understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle.
• Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps (also ServiceNow or equivalent tools).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments.

Nice-to-Haves / Additional Context

• Ability to produce and manage reporting dashboards and KPI tracking for remediation programs.
