Scrum Master

Role overview

Stefanini Group is hiring a Scrum Master (Remote) to help an agile team deliver business value within a larger ART and Operational Value Stream context. You will act as a key connector between product leadership and implementation, coaching teams to operationalize Agile as part of the solution and ART framework.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate successful delivery of business value in an Agile framework
• Plan, lead, organize, and motivate cross-functional teams
• Facilitate and coordinate Agile ceremonies, including:
  • PI Planning, iteration planning
  • Daily standups
  • Iteration reviews, demos, and retrospectives
• Partner with the Product Owner to ensure ceremonies and ad hoc meetings are valuable, purposeful, efficient, and well organized
• Identify blockers and drive their removal with urgency
• Support innovation and collaboration; ensure all voices are heard
• Foster consensus-based decision making within the team
• Support short- and long-term release planning and keep the backlog healthy and execution-ready
• Work with Product Owners to drive release and iteration roadmaps
• Maintain a healthy, safe team working environment
• Champion continuous improvement and treat failures as opportunities for growth
• Use evidence-based quantitative/qualitative data to identify problems and evaluate solution efficacy
• Ask powerful questions and build a culture of continuous learning
• Act as a change agent to drive Agile adoption through a structured approach
• Ensure visibility and effective cross-organization interactions to resolve impediments quickly
• Connect teams with relevant stakeholders so teams can plan and work effectively
• Apply and drive risk management discipline for team risks

Requirements

• 5+ years Agile methodology experience in a large enterprise environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience as a Scrum Master
• Demonstrated mastery in teaching, mentoring, transformation, and facilitation
• Strong organizational and communication skills, including negotiation and ability to influence

Desired / Nice-to-haves

• Certifications:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • SAFe Scrum Master
  • SAFe PO/PM
• Working knowledge of:
  • Product Management
  • Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing / Continuous Delivery
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods such as:
  • Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping
• General knowledge of business lines and/or system operations, policies, procedures, and technologies
