About the role

Role Overview

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate and organized Scrum Master to join its team in Barnegat, NJ. The Scrum Master will champion Agile practices, facilitate collaboration, and help teams deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Facilitate key Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach and mentor cross-functional teams on Agile/Scrum methodologies
Remove impediments/blockers to ensure sprint delivery
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint metrics, and project progress to stakeholders
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration
Coordinate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog
Identify and mitigate risks to support on-time delivery of sprint goals

Requirements

Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a professional setting
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (preferred)
Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks
Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and locations
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage competing priorities

Additional/strong Agile coaching experience beyond core Scrum Master duties
