Scrum Master

Role Overview

Scrum Master to guide multiple Agile teams and improve Agile maturity across the organization. This is a 100% remote role with quarterly travel to Security Finance’s home office in Spartanburg, SC.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs
• Help teams deliver high-quality solutions by:
  • identifying risks
  • removing obstacles
  • promoting collaboration
• Support backlog refinement by refining user stories and ensuring work is defined, sized, and prioritized
• Foster communication and teamwork across Development, QA, Product, and business stakeholders
• Support incident triage efforts and coordinate responses with internal/external teams
• Champion Agile principles and drive continuous improvement
• Track and report KPIs to support delivery and process improvement
• Recommend process improvements to increase team effectiveness and organizational outcomes

Requirements

• Scrum Master certification required
• 5+ years experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
• Experience facilitating Agile Scrum processes across multiple teams
• Proficiency with Jira (Agile project management tools)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection; comfortable with remote collaboration and video conferencing

Preferred

• Experience in the financial services industry

• Quarterly travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina
