Role Overview

Scrum Master (Remote)

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate Agile/Scrum practices, including effective planning and ceremonies
Support and guide teams using Agile methods at scale
Resolve conflict and remove impediments by analyzing situations quickly
Determine what is Scrum vs. what is not, and help ensure process adherence
Enable successful meeting facilitation for both co-located and distributed teams
Support organizational Agile transitions, including moving from Waterfall to Agile

Requirements

4+ years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master (preferred)
Demonstrable proficiency in Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban
Experience applying Agile at scale
Experience across multiple SDLCs, including Waterfall, iterative, and Agile
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and stay self-motivated
Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills

Nice to Haves

Experience as an Agile Coach
Experience leading an organization’s transition from Waterfall to Agile

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
