About the role

Role: Scrum Master (Remote Opportunity)

As a Scrum Master, you will lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies for a cross-functional Agile software development team supporting federal government projects.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: PI Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Demos, and related meetings.
Remove impediments/blockers to keep delivery on track.
Promote Agile quality practices and help standardize processes.
Build collaboration and transparency across the team and stakeholders.
Advise government personnel on process improvements within the project.
Partner with senior client leadership during client delivery engagements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience leading an Agile development team.
Proven experience in large-scale software development, including data management and software integration.
Expertise in SAFe Agile framework.
SAFe Certified Scrum Master with a detail-oriented approach to technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Department of Veteran Affairs and its tools/processes/frameworks.
Familiarity with Project and Configuration Management tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub).
Technical background in relevant disciplines.
Experience with InterSystems technology.
Background in healthcare-related projects.
