About the role
Role: Scrum Master (Remote)
Joveo is hiring a Scrum Master to facilitate agile delivery for one or more product engineering teams. You will protect the Scrum process, remove blockers, and help teams continuously improve so they can deliver fast and with focus.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
- Remove impediments and escalate blockers the team cannot resolve
- Coach teams on agile principles and help mature agile practices
- Track velocity, sprint metrics, and overall delivery health
- Collaborate with product managers to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog
- Support cross-team coordination in scaled agile environments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master for software engineering teams
- Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and agile delivery principles
- Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution skills, especially for distributed teams
- CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Linear, or Azure DevOps
- Ability to balance process adherence with pragmatic delivery
