About the role
Role Overview
Joveo is hiring a Scrum Master to facilitate agile delivery for one or more product engineering teams. You will protect the delivery process, remove blockers, and help teams continuously improve so they can deliver fast and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
- Remove impediments and escalate blockers the team cannot resolve
- Coach teams on agile principles and help mature agile practices
- Track velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery health
- Collaborate with product managers to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog
- Support cross-team coordination in scaled agile environments
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master for software engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and agile delivery principles
- Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills, including for distributed teams
- Ability to balance process adherence with pragmatic delivery focus
Preferred
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with agile tools: Jira, Linear, or Azure DevOps
