About the role

Role Overview

Scrum Master supporting Agile development for software/engineering teams, with flexible work options (remote in Nashville, TN or hybrid in Parsippany, NJ). This role facilitates Agile execution and helps teams improve continuously.

Responsibilities

Facilitate sprint planning and ensure backlog items are prioritized and estimated
Lead daily standups and sprint reviews; ensure clear communication and visibility
Maintain milestone plans and track progress against timelines and defined outcomes
Coach teams on Agile principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Manage cross-team dependencies and escalate risks, recommending solutions

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting software/engineering teams
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and hands-on experience facilitating core ceremonies
Proficiency with Jira (administration, reporting, and sprint analytics)
Proven ability to manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder reporting
Strong organizational skills; able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare IT, pharmacy benefit management, or other regulated environments
Relevant certifications: CSM, A-CSM, or SAFe Scrum Master
Experience supporting complex technical initiatives (e.g., cloud platforms, enterprise applications, APIs)
