Scrum Master - Remote

Role Overview

Scrum Master (Remote) for Dorrus.com, a travel booking platform. You will help a remote development team apply Scrum effectively, remove impediments, and improve delivery through continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach the team on Agile best practices and ensure Scrum principles are followed
• Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog
• Track and report team metrics to improve velocity and delivery
• Enable clear communication between stakeholders and the development team
• Identify and resolve conflicts/challenges to improve team dynamics
• Drive continuous improvement via process optimization and team development

Required Skills

• 2+ years as a Scrum Master (or similar role)
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks
• Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar project management tools)
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Familiarity with software development processes and terminology
• Problem-solving mindset focused on removing impediments
• Experience working with remote/distributed teams

Nice to Have

• Scrum certifications: CSM, PSM, or SAFe
• Experience in travel/hospitality
• Background in software development or QA
• Knowledge of other Agile methodologies: Kanban, Lean, XP
• Experience scaling Agile in growing organizations
• Understanding of DevOps practices/tools
