Scrum Master :: Remote :: 6+ Months Contract

Role Overview

Scrum Master for a remote opportunity with an estimated 6+ months contract duration. The role supports Agile teams by coaching Scrum/Agile practices, facilitating iteration cadence, and improving visibility into team metrics and delivery progress.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams on Agile values and practices, emphasizing continuous improvement
• Enable project teams to share learnings across the organization
• Track and maintain visibility of historical team metrics and iteration/release progress
• Collaborate with project leads to proactively address issues, risks, and mitigation plans
• Facilitate iteration-based meetings and ensure outcomes and cadence are achieved

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with IT and IT project management experience
• Scrum Master experience; certification preferred
• Experience overseeing project teams of 10+ members
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management skills
• Ability to identify priorities and mobilize initiatives with minimal supervision

• Hands-on experience improving software development processes to optimize business value delivery
• Experience with distributed development teams across multiple time zones and cultures
• Experience in a Web/Java/XML/RDBMS development environment
