Scrum Master

Role Overview

PSI (Proteam Solutions) is seeking a technically strong Scrum Master to support a software engineering organization delivering modern digital products and platforms. You will act as a servant leader, helping teams execute Agile effectively while engaging in engineering discussions around architecture, technical dependencies, and delivery planning.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach engineering teams on Agile principles and delivery best practices
• Partner with engineering leaders on architecture decisions and technical dependencies
• Improve delivery visibility using sprint progress, delivery risk, velocity, and team health metrics
• Remove impediments and protect teams from scope disruption and delivery interruptions
• Support backlog refinement and ensure stories meet readiness standards
• Drive continuous improvement across process, automation, and software quality
• Coordinate communication across engineering, product, and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting software engineering teams
• Strong understanding of SDLC and modern engineering practices
• Experience supporting CI/CD and release processes
• Knowledge of APIs, cloud architecture, and microservices environments
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and servant leadership skills
• Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps (and collaboration platforms)

Preferred Qualifications

• CSM, PSM, or SAFe certification
• Prior hands-on background in software engineering, QA automation, or systems engineering
• Domain experience (healthcare, commercial technology, supply chain)
• Experience mentoring teams and driving Agile maturity initiatives
