About the role
Role Overview
Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead Agile initiatives in the Finance Product Technology domain. You will oversee the Agile delivery lifecycle—from project intake through release—while partnering with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with program objectives and goals.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Agile delivery aligned with Program Increment (PI) and business objectives
- Coordinate with Product Owners to keep the backlog prioritized and actionable
- Serve as the main liaison between delivery teams and business stakeholders
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies:
- Daily Standups
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Grooming
- Sprint Reviews/Demos
- Retrospectives
- Manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve blockers to keep delivery on track
- Forecast timelines using estimation, velocity, and capacity planning
- Improve processes and lead efforts to enhance team flow and quality
- Shield teams from external disruptions and promote effective collaboration
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager leading Agile teams
- Expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum practices
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Haves
- Experience with finance systems
- Familiarity with Navy Federal processes
Location / Work Model
- Merrifield, VA (primarily remote; on-site meetings as needed)
Contract & Pay
- Contract through 12/31/26, strong expectation of extension
- $66.00 W2
