Scrum Master

Role Overview

Scrum Master supporting a multi-cloud modernization program for federal customers. You’ll facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and help teams deliver secure, modern, efficient digital services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate day-to-day Scrum activities: daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Support agile delivery across multiple cloud-focused engineering workstreams
• Collaborate with technical teams, product owners, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency
• Document and share cloud-specific impediments so the team can address them collectively
• Track team progress and maintain sprint boards; identify risks, dependencies, and issues
• Promote agile best practices and continuous improvement to enhance team delivery
• Use agile tools (e.g., Jira or Azure DevOps) for sprint management and reporting

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience
• US citizenship required
• Public Trust clearance (or ability to obtain)
• Strong facilitation and coaching; communication, coordination, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge/understanding of Scrum/Agile frameworks and familiarity with cloud or IT modernization concepts
• Education: BA/BS in Project Management/IT or equivalent experience
• Scrum Master certification preferred (CSM, SSM, PSM, or equivalent) and/or Agile certification

Logistics

• Remote location with some travel (<10%)
• Contingent role; expected start August 2026 or later
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40

Compensation (provided as a likely range)

• Likely hourly rate: $35.04–$47.40 (final pay set by experience, location, and contractual requirements)
