Role Overview

Scrum Master for multiple software development teams in an Agile environment. The role supports Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders to help teams deliver meaningful, high-quality solutions.

Contract & Logistics

Contract length: 1 year (June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027)
Employment type: W-2 only
Work mode: Remote
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Background check: Clear criminal background check required
Notes: US work authorization required; no C2C/third-party arrangements

Key Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives
Coach teams and stakeholders on Scrum principles and Agile best practices
Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder requests
Improve delivery predictability, velocity, and Scrum maturity
Remove impediments and resolve conflicts/blockers
Build and maintain Jira reporting (e.g., velocity, burndown, capacity, planning)
Support story point estimation, roadmap adjustments, quarterly planning, and cross-team collaboration
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Scrum Master certification
5+ years as a Scrum Master or Product Owner in a software development environment
Strong experience with Jira
Experience coaching teams new to Agile/Scrum
Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership
Highly organized, adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced technical environment
