About the role
Role overview
Scrum Master for an omnichannel product team operating in a SAFe-based enterprise environment. You will stabilize an in-flight, high-velocity delivery setup by enabling effective agile execution, improving ceremony and backlog health, and removing impediments while maintaining delivery momentum and team well-being.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated Scrum Master for the omnichannel delivery team
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on SAFe and agile best practices
- Ensure a steady flow of groomed, ready backlog items (backlog readiness)
- Partner with Product Owners to keep requirements clear and actionable and aligned to program goals
- Identify, escalate, and remove impediments threatening sprint commitments or delivery outcomes
- Provide transparency to leadership on progress, risks, and dependencies; share delivery health and team capacity with the Program Manager
- Support release planning and PI planning, including cross-team dependency alignment across value streams
- Coordinate stakeholders and maintain accountability to timelines and commitments in a constructive way
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting enterprise-scale teams
- Active Scrum Master certification
- Proven experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments
- Experience supporting large, mature teams with complex dependencies
- Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work confidently in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
Nice to have
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP), or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- Experience with SAP or enterprise platform teams
- Background in omnichannel, customer experience, or digital product initiatives
Logistics / eligibility
- Remote role
- Applicants must be able to work on a W2 basis (client requirement)
- Rate: $55.00–$65.00/hr (W2 hourly pay range)
