Scrum Master (Remote)

Lead Agile delivery while driving data-driven insights and analytics to support software development teams and product outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Lead Scrum teams through the full SDLC: planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Analyze development data in Azure DevOps to identify trends, risks, and performance metrics.
• Write and refine queries to extract insights from development data.
• Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI for leadership reporting.
• Use AI/GenAI tools to improve analysis, forecasting, and team performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, testers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Remove blockers, manage risks/issues, and drive them to resolution.
• Support Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
• Create reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-haves

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience working with software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (querying, reporting, analytics).
• Ability to perform analytics using development tools.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with AI/GenAI tools.
• Experience with Lucid or Miro for visualization/planning.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks.
• Background in US banking/financial services or financial products/compliance.
• Experience with distributed teams or third-party vendors.

Contract Details

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 7+ month contract (through end of year)
• Compensation: $45–$49/hour (W2) with health/dental/vision and 401(k)
• Location: Remote (EST/CST)
