Scrum Master, Junior

Role Overview

Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Junior Scrum Master to support a federal customer in an onsite capacity. You will help coordinate Agile delivery teams, facilitate ceremonies, and ensure alignment across stakeholders on a multi-year initiative modernizing mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Agile teams delivering projects using Scrum or similar methodologies
• Assist with facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Track team progress, sprint commitments, and delivery metrics
• Work with Product Owners to maintain and refine backlogs
• Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and dependencies
• Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
• Support documentation and communication of team activities and progress
• Learn and apply Agile best practices to drive continuous improvement over time

Objectives (Examples)

• Modernize legacy systems into cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud)
• Support transitions to microservices and container-based platforms
• Assist with enhanced search and data capabilities
• Contribute to system performance and scalability improvements

Requirements

• Emerging Scrum Master / Agile professional (early career)
• Organized, dependable, and motivated to learn Agile execution and team facilitation
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical team members
• Comfortable initiating support to remove blockers and keep work on track
• Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
• Interest in a federal, compliance-driven environment with strong accountability, security awareness, and mission focus

Clearance / Onsite Details

• Current, active Top Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI as requested
• Onsite work at FBI facilities in Winchester, VA (primary place of performance)
• Normal workday typically 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. ET, with core hours 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. ET
