Scrum Master, Junior

Role Overview

Join Trilogy Innovations as a Junior Scrum Master supporting a federal customer on a fully remote basis. You’ll help coordinate Agile delivery for a multi-year mission-critical modernization initiative, working alongside experienced Scrum Masters and delivery leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support Agile teams delivering work using Scrum or similar methodologies
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Track progress, sprint commitments, and key delivery metrics
• Work with Product Owners to maintain and refine backlogs
• Identify and escalate risks, blockers, and dependencies to senior team members
• Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
• Support documentation and communication of team activities and progress
• Learn and apply Agile best practices to improve team performance over time

• Support teams in meeting sprint commitments with improved consistency
• Contribute positively to collaboration and team communication
• Build foundational Scrum/Agile skills and demonstrate growth in facilitation
• Ensure issues/blockers are identified early and escalated appropriately

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance
• Emerging Scrum Master/Agile professional eager to build experience
• Strong communicator comfortable with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable removing blockers, coordinating meetings, and keeping work on track
• Interest in a federal, compliance-driven environment (accountability, security, mission impact)

Nice-to-Haves / Domain Exposure

• Interest in modernization initiatives such as:
  • Transitioning legacy systems toward cloud (including AWS GovCloud)
  • Moving toward microservices and container-based platforms
  • Enhancing search and data capabilities
  • Improving system performance and scalability
