About the role

Role: Scrum Master

Facilitate Agile delivery and sprint cadence for a long-term remote project. You will ensure the team’s execution is efficient, impediments are removed, and delivery is fully auditable and traceable in Azure DevOps (ADO).

Responsibilities

Own Agile execution and manage sprint cadence
Facilitate the team and help drive continuous improvement
Maintain backlog health and work item hygiene in ADO
Ensure audit-ready tracking and end-to-end delivery flow visibility
Provide reporting and metrics to support delivery predictability and team health

Key Deliverables

Backlog Structure & Work Item Hygiene
- Epics, features, user stories, and tasks with proper acceptance criteria
- Work item states aligned to delivery lifecycle (e.g., New → Active → Resolved → Closed)
- Traceability using links such as pipeline runs and repo commits
Sprint Backlogs & Sprint Plans
- Refine user stories meeting Definition of Ready
- Estimate story points (team-owned) and commit sprint backlog
- Capture sprint goals
Live Dashboards & Reports
- Burndown/burn-up charts
- Flow efficiency, throughput, and velocity tracking
- Blocker frequency/severity reports
- Cumulative flow diagrams and team capacity tracking
Audit-Ready Traceability Chain
- Epics → Features → User Stories → Tasks → Pull Requests → Pipelines → Releases
- Documented validation/acceptance and versioning via ADO work items
Definition of Done Compliance Records
- Testing/validation evidence and required documentation updates
- Linked pipeline runs and product owner acceptance notes

Requirements

CSM certified (must-have)
Healthcare background (must-have)
Must be able to provide 3 references
Remote project support and Agile facilitation experience

Contract / Interview Notes

Long-term engagement (initial PO for 3 years with multi-year extensions)
Webcam interview
Restriction: W2 or C2C
