Role Overview

Scrum Master (Remote)

CashFlow Central is seeking a Scrum Master to enable an agile Scrum team to deliver effectively against business and technical priorities. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, improve delivery predictability, and coach the team to increase effectiveness and agile maturity.

Responsibilities

Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and related events
Identify, remove, and escalate blockers/dependencies impacting delivery
Coach the Scrum team, product partners, and stakeholders on agile practices and effective delivery behaviors
Improve sprint predictability, estimation/refinement readiness, and follow-through on commitments
Drive continuous improvement by converting retro outcomes into practical actions and monitoring completion
Promote transparency across risks, dependencies, capacity, scope changes, and delivery status
Protect focus on committed work and reduce unnecessary disruption
Coordinate with cross-functional partners to manage dependencies and keep delivery moving
Partner with engineering and product leadership to improve delivery discipline, team health, and overall agile maturity

Required Qualifications

Proven Scrum Master experience supporting software delivery teams in agile environments
Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills
Track record of improving team execution, delivery predictability, and agile maturity over time
Ability to quickly identify blockers, drive resolution, and manage ambiguity with limited oversight
Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles with sufficient technical fluency to collaborate credibly with engineering
Experience using delivery metrics and team signals/operational feedback to improve team performance
Experience coordinating across product, engineering, and partner teams in shared delivery environments
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with teams building products for small businesses or operating in financial services/payments or other regulated environments
Experience coaching cross-functional product and engineering teams in shared delivery environments
Experience supporting multiple teams or scaling agile practices beyond a single team
Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
Scrum certifications: CSM, PSM, or equivalent
Familiarity with cloud/platform delivery concepts for technical dependency management
