About the role
Role Overview
Scrum Master II (Remote) for a product and software development organization in Arizona or North Carolina. You will lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, guide teams to follow Scrum framework values, remove impediments, and help improve team efficiency and delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team.
- Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and foster a culture of agility and learning.
- Communication & Facilitation:
- Run daily team meetings (standups) to track progress, address roadblocks, and ensure delivery is on track.
- Host regular sessions to share project updates with product stakeholders.
- Business Support: Plan and organize demos and product/system testing.
- Ensure proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the Scrum team.
- Reporting: Track processes, deliverables, and financials; prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Scrum Master certification required.
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of IT project management experience, or
- High school diploma/GED + 8 years of IT project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with MS Office Suite and MS Visio.
- Very seasoned in Agile methodologies, including SAFe / Kanban / Scrum.
