Scrum Master II (Remote)

Role Overview

Scrum Master II (Remote) for a product and software development organization in Arizona or North Carolina. You will lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, guide teams to follow Scrum framework values, remove impediments, and help improve team efficiency and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
• Facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team.
• Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and foster a culture of agility and learning.
• Communication & Facilitation:
  • Run daily team meetings (standups) to track progress, address roadblocks, and ensure delivery is on track.
  • Host regular sessions to share project updates with product stakeholders.
• Business Support: Plan and organize demos and product/system testing.
• Ensure proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the Scrum team.
• Reporting: Track processes, deliverables, and financials; prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Scrum Master certification required.
• Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of IT project management experience, or
  • High school diploma/GED + 8 years of IT project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and MS Visio.
• Very seasoned in Agile methodologies, including SAFe / Kanban / Scrum.
