About the role
Role Overview
Scrum Master coaching an engineering development team on Agile best practices and sprint execution. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, help improve sustainable processes, and support delivery by maintaining the backlog and ensuring requirements are validated.
Responsibilities
- Coach a development team on Agile best practices, with focus on sprint goals and project success
- Apply Scrum principles to resolve routine delivery/process issues
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies:
- Sprint Planning
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospectives
- Create and document detailed user stories with:
- associated tasks
- acceptance criteria
- Analyze and improve business processes in collaboration with the project team
- Maintain and manage the product backlog
- Support QA and requirements validation
Requirements
- 2+ years as a Scrum Master for an engineering team
- Proven experience with Jira, including managing/integrating Jira boards for multiple teams
- Experience leading client delivery engagements and interacting with senior client management
- Ability to teach basic Agile framework concepts to technical teams
- Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
