About the role
Role Overview
Scrum Master to lead agile technology teams in delivering new features. You will act as an agile facilitator, translating business needs into prioritized work while ensuring the team follows Scrum practices and delivers on time and within cost.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including:
- Daily standups
- Sprint planning
- Retrospectives
- Sprint reviews
- Guide the team on Agile/Scrum practices, principles, and values.
- Lead backlog grooming, estimation, and other process-driven activities.
- Track and communicate progress (team/sprint/release) to both the team and leadership.
- Ensure stakeholders are aligned on priority items and delivery timing.
- Identify risks, propose mitigations, and communicate alternatives to stakeholders.
- Track and manage agreed scope and scope changes.
- Work with delivery teams to set expectations and keep tasks on track.
- Remove or address current and future impediments.
- Maintain process documentation.
- Support remote/virtual teams and operate comfortably in a distributed environment.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
- Experience transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile, including:
- Change management
- Team enablement
- Process implementation
- Intermediate level experience with Jira and Confluence.
Nice to Have
- Background in a product-led or agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, leadership, or Project Management.
- Scrum Master certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
