Scrum Master (Full remote)

Role Overview

Astek is hiring a Senior Scrum Master to support an international partner in the pharmaceutical sector. You will help drive agile delivery, foster high-performing teams, and support digital transformation in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support Scrum delivery, including key ceremonies:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily
  • Sprint Review
  • Sprint Retrospective
• Coach teams and stakeholders to sustain a high-performing Agile environment
• Work with multiple Scrum teams simultaneously in complex settings
• Identify, escalate, and remove impediments
• Continuously improve team processes and ways of working
• Support Agile execution using common tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence)

Requirements

• 5–6 years experience working in Agile environments
• 3–4+ years as a Scrum Master
• Strong practical experience applying Scrum principles and facilitating Agile ceremonies
• Experience in large or regulated organizations (pharma/healthcare/finance preferred)
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kanban or scaled frameworks such as SAFe
• Scrum certifications such as PSM or CSM
