Scrum Master - Enterprise Data Management

Role Overview

Scrum Master for Enterprise Data Management teams at Voya Financial. You will enable effective, predictable, value-focused delivery by combining Agile discipline with facilitation, coaching, and delivery visibility.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (as needed): Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Tasking, Daily Scrum, Sprint Demo, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Coach teams to adopt Agile principles, practices, and behaviors that improve delivery outcomes and organizational consistency.
• Establish Agile standards and agreements, including Definitions of Ready and Done, adapting practices to team maturity and context.
• Reinforce transparency, alignment, and shared responsibility to promote team ownership and self-organization.
• Maintain visibility into commitments, progress, blockers, dependencies, and risks to support informed decisions with stakeholders.
• Identify and remove impediments; step beyond traditional boundaries to maintain flow and delivery.
• Drive follow-through on retrospective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use metrics and delivery insights to identify trends and improvement opportunities while minimizing process overhead.
• Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, Tech Leads, and business stakeholders to ensure work is well-defined, prioritized, and execution-ready.
• Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders when dependencies or shared deliverables require alignment.
