Scrum Master

Role Overview

Join the client team as a Scrum Master providing end-user support. This is a remote role supporting the EST time zone. The ideal candidate must be located in the EST time zone, with a strong preference for candidates located in Charlotte, NC and Dallas/Irvine, TX, or Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities

• Enable transparency, flow, and continuous improvement across multiple initiatives
• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Identify and remove blockers/obstacles that hinder team progress
• Coach the team and organization on Scrum and Agile best practices
• Protect the team from distractions and scope creep
• Support self-organization and a high-performing, continuous-improvement culture
• Collaborate as a liaison between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders to ensure goal alignment
• Promote and maintain high velocity through continuous improvement
• Track delivery using metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and release planning
• Monitor sprint progress and help remove organizational barriers

Requirements

• 5+ years working as a Project Manager/Scrum Master in an enterprise environment
• Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (including Scrum and Kanban)
• Deep understanding of Scrum principles and practices
• Experience facilitating: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
• Experience with Agile tooling and collaboration tools (examples mentioned: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro)
• Basic technical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and API integrations
• Experience using ServiceNow, AWS, and Rally (noted as the Agile tool)
• Scrum Master certification is preferred (not required)
• Proven communication skills and leadership in Agile delivery
• Experience with Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe / Large-Scale Scrum

• Prior bank industry experience
• Scrum Master certification
• Prior PM/Scrum experience with a proven track record
