About the role

Role Overview

Technical Scrum Master supporting Infrastructure & Foundation engineering groups for a large healthcare organization. You will work hands-on across multiple fast-moving technical teams to ensure strong execution, clear communication, and predictable delivery outcomes.

Location: Denver, CO — Remote (United States)

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coordinate daily execution for Infrastructure/Foundation Scrum teams.
Partner with engineering leadership, Tech Leads, Principal Engineers, PMO/Scrum peers to remove blockers and improve delivery practices.
Build, maintain, and present delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, capacity, throughput, team health, blockers, and trends).
Provide executive-ready reporting on delivery status, risks, and improvement actions.
Support transition from PI planning to a continuous delivery operating model.
Coordinate frequent release cycles (often daily for infrastructure work), including scheduling, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
Maintain visibility across large multi-team environments by tracking dependencies, risks, and cross-team impacts.
Act as an owner of Scrum processes with accountability and delivery quality (not a delegator).
Ramp quickly into the technical ecosystem, including workflows, identity/SSO integrations, micro-frontends, Angular, Ionic Capacitor, DevOps pipelines, and enterprise data services.
Use data and observations to proactively identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting technical/DevOps/cloud/infrastructure teams.
Technical fluency to engage confidently with engineers and technical leadership.
Experience supporting multiple teams in parallel in complex enterprise environments.
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to translate technical delivery into actionable insights.
Experience building and presenting Agile delivery metrics to leadership.
High emotional intelligence for navigating engineering, product, and leadership conversations.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on ownership mindset (not “facilitator only”).
Ability to independently drive alignment, improve team health, and remove delivery friction.
Experience in large-scale environments with multiple dependencies.
Comfort with rapid release cycles and continuous delivery workflows.
Familiarity with DevOps, cloud platforms, micro-frontends, Angular, Ionic Capacitor, GitHub, and enterprise data systems.
High curiosity and ability to ramp quickly into new technical domains.
Healthcare experience (nice to have).

Contract Details

Long-term contract
Compensation: $60–$70 hourly
