Scrum Master

Role: Scrum Master (Contractor)

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote) Contract: 6-month contract

Responsibilities

• Support Agile delivery for assigned team(s) under the guidance of a Senior Scrum Master Lead.
• Facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews).
• Maintain team boards and delivery artifacts (e.g., Jira storyboards, sprint backlogs) to ensure work is current and accurately tracked.
• Assist with sprint forecasting, capacity planning, and backlog readiness.
• Track and escalate impediments, risks, and dependencies; follow through on action items.
• Monitor and report basic delivery metrics and support status updates.
• Promote Agile best practices, helping the team adopt working agreements and continuous improvement actions.
• Build working relationships with IT team members and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in an Agile delivery role.
• Working knowledge of Scrum fundamentals and Agile principles.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to raise risks/issues early.
• Experience with Agile delivery tools: Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Nice to have

• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
