About the role

Role Overview

Facilitate Agile delivery for assigned development and QA teams as a Scrum Master. You will lead Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, coordinate with Release Management, and help teams deliver consistent value each sprint.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Scrum ceremonies for assigned teams:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Standup
- Sprint Review
- Sprint Retrospective
Coordinate with the Release Manager on release scoping and deployment readiness
Track and report sprint metrics, velocity, and team health
Remove impediments and facilitate cross-team dependencies
Coach teams on Agile principles and self-organization
Manage the Jira backlog and sprint boards
Coordinate with government testers on acceptance testing and feedback

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master (CSM or PSM)
CSM or PSM certification (implied by “Scrum Master CSM or PSM certification”)
Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
U.S. citizenship required
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

SAFe Scrum Master or PMI-ACP
Technical background in software development
Experience in government/DoD Agile environments
Experience coordinating distributed teams

Work Environment

Hybrid/remote environment with potential on-site requirements based on contract needs
