Scrum Master

Role Overview

You will serve as a Scrum Master (remote, with a requirement for local Milwaukee, WI presence). The Scrum Master enables teams and processes to deliver continuous value by coaching Agile principles, improving team effectiveness, and driving sustainable organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach team members on self-management and cross-functionality
• Ensure Scrum events are productive, time-boxed, and purposeful
• Help teams deliver high-quality increments by supporting the Definition of Done
• Facilitate Sprint Retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
• Facilitate Sprint Planning
• Manage sprint dashboards and prepare/maintain burndown charts
• Partner with DEV, QA, and PO to meet sprint milestones
• Improve Product Backlog refinement techniques
• Support effective Product Goal definition
• Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and the Scrum Team
• Remove impediments early, including organizational, technical, or process blockers (may require escalation, negotiation, or systemic change)
• Promote transparency and stakeholder trust through Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

Requirements / Fit

• Strong Agile/Scrum coaching skills focused on team effectiveness and delivery predictability
• Ability to remove impediments and facilitate inspection and adaptation via Scrum ceremonies
