Scrum Master

Role Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a client team.

• Employment type/duration: 6+ months
• Compensation: Up to $75–$80/hr
• Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Lead the scrum team using Agile and Scrum practices
• Support the Product Owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
• Drive self-organization for scrum and development teams
• Remove impediments and coach the team on removing them
• Help the teams identify and fill gaps in the Agile/Scrum framework
• Resolve conflicts and issues
• Improve scrum team scrum maturity
• Support the Product Owner, including providing education when needed
• Manage team progress to ensure release timing, cost, and quality goals are met

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience working in Wealth Management, Broker Dealer, and/or Advisory industries
• 3–5 years prior experience working on a scrum team
• Ability to analyze, think quickly, and resolve conflict
• Knowledgeable in techniques to address gaps in Scrum
• Ability to determine what is Scrum vs. what is not
• Experience with successful Agile techniques
• Strong ability to work with and lead a team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Self-motivated and able to stay focused despite distractions
