About the role
Role Overview
Stratfield Consulting is hiring a Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support its engineering team. This is a 9-month remote contract role with likely extensions.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Manage Agile execution by handling ticket creation, backlog grooming, and dependency coordination
- Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation
- Identify, communicate, and help remove blockers to ensure smooth sprint delivery
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and client stakeholders
- Drive data-driven delivery and support demo readiness
- Foster team collaboration and lead through influence
- Act as a bridge between business vision and technical execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in technical project management within Agile environments
- 3+ years experience as a Scrum Master in Agile settings
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence (and similar project management tools)
- Strong communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile application development
- Prior experience in product development or innovative delivery environments
Contract & Work Setup
- 9-month contract with likely extensions
- Remote work; W2 only (no sponsorship)
