Role Overview

Stratfield Consulting is hiring a Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support its engineering team. This is a 9-month remote contract role with likely extensions.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Manage Agile execution by handling ticket creation, backlog grooming, and dependency coordination
Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation
Identify, communicate, and help remove blockers to ensure smooth sprint delivery
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and client stakeholders
Drive data-driven delivery and support demo readiness
Foster team collaboration and lead through influence
Act as a bridge between business vision and technical execution

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
5+ years in technical project management within Agile environments
3+ years experience as a Scrum Master in Agile settings
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence (and similar project management tools)
Strong communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence

Nice to Have

Experience with mobile application development
Prior experience in product development or innovative delivery environments

Contract & Work Setup

9-month contract with likely extensions
Remote work; W2 only (no sponsorship)
