Scrum Lead – ERP Digital Transformation

Role Overview

CGI is seeking an experienced Scrum Lead to join its ERP implementation team for large-scale government digital transformation initiatives. The Scrum Lead will act as a servant leader and Agile coach, guiding cross-functional teams through the full ERP implementation lifecycle.

Location & Schedule

• Preferred location: San Diego, CA
• Remote: Remote candidates may be considered
• Must be available to work Pacific Time (PST) hours
• Occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more Agile Scrum teams delivering enterprise ERP implementation and modernization work
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Stand-ups
  • Sprint Reviews
  • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Backlog Refinement
  • Release Planning
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile values, Scrum principles, SAFe practices, and continuous improvement
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy backlogs, refine user stories, prioritize work, and ensure sprint readiness
• Identify, remove, and escalate impediments, risks, and dependencies impacting delivery
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Functional/Technical Leads, Solution Architects, and client stakeholders for cross-team execution
• Monitor sprint health using Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, team capacity, and delivery forecasts
• Drive continuous improvement via retrospectives and process enhancements
• Maintain Agile artifacts (e.g., sprint boards, action logs, decision records, dashboards, performance metrics) in Agile management tools
• Support release planning, production readiness, change activities, and deployment coordination

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business (the posting cuts off here)

• Experience applying SAFe practices
• Experience delivering ERP transformations for government/public sector clients
