SCCM Architect(Only w2)

Role Overview

Astir IT Solutions is seeking an SCCM / MECM Architect with strong experience in enterprise Windows server onboarding, patch management, SCCM administration, and migration projects. You will work on large-scale environments and help drive infrastructure transformation initiatives using PowerShell automation.

Responsibilities

• SCCM / MECM Administration (Core)

  • Onboard servers into existing SCCM infrastructure
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and monitor SCCM clients
  • Configure boundary groups and site assignment
  • Support multi-domain SCCM environments
  • Work with SCCM architecture components: distribution points, collections, and deployment workflows

• Windows Server Administration

  • Support Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Troubleshoot patching, SCCM agent, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain operational stability for enterprise server infrastructure

• Patch Management & Migration

  • Migrate from third-party patching tools to SCCM/MECM
  • Understand and manage patching workflows across WSUS and SCCM
  • Manage patch deployments, maintenance windows, and compliance reporting
  • Ensure patch compliance during migration

• Automation / Scripting

  • Build PowerShell scripts for bulk SCCM client deployment and cleanup of legacy agents/tools
  • Automate server onboarding
  • Perform basic SCCM/server health checks

• Infrastructure Coordination

  • Work with DNS, Active Directory, networking, and firewall dependencies
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, server, and network teams during deployments/troubleshooting

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on SCCM / MECM administration
• Proven enterprise experience in patching and migration projects
• Experience supporting enterprise environments with 100+ servers preferred

Nice to Have

• SCCM reporting/dashboarding experience
• Exposure to complex multi-domain enterprise environments
• Familiarity with enterprise automation and compliance initiatives
