About the role

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Front-end Developer to design, build, and enhance modern SAP Fiori applications. This 100% remote role is a full-time, direct W2 position for an in-house Statement of Work (SOW) engagement, with no third-party client or vendor involved.

Responsibilities

Design and develop SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5, Fiori elements, and Fiori Launchpad, following SAP Fiori Design Guidelines
Build and consume OData services (v2/v4), including model definitions, navigation properties, expansions, and batch operations
Create custom controls, formatters, fragments, and reusable components based on internal standards
Configure role-based Fiori Launchpad (catalogs, groups, tiles, target mappings)
Optimize performance via bundling, caching, lazy loading, and reducing network round trips
Build adaptive apps using Flexibility Services and key-user adaptation features of S/4HANA
Implement strong authentication/authorization patterns aligned with SAP security guidelines
Integrate with SAP BTP services, including XSUAA, Workflow, and Document Service
Support deployment to ABAP frontend servers and BTP-hosted runtimes
Collaborate with ABAP developers on backend OData services and CDS views
Perform functional, regression, and cross-device/cross-browser testing, including accessibility and edge-case validation
Provide hypercare and post-go-live support (issue triage and performance tuning)

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience building SAP front-end solutions
Deep expertise in SAPUI5 / SAP Fiori, including Fiori elements and OData
Strong understanding of UX, accessibility, and clean architecture principles
Experience aligning implementations to SAP Fiori Design Guidelines
Ability to complete a mandatory technical coding assessment

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with S/4HANA flexibility/key-user adaptation
Experience with SAP BTP integrations and deployment across ABAP frontend and BTP runtimes
