Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

As a Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Nuvitek, you will ensure the quality and performance of software applications. You’ll design and maintain test automation frameworks, execute performance testing, and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to identify and resolve issues before production.

What You Will Do

• Establish and apply testing best practices independently.
• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a test automation framework supporting multiple projects.
  • Use FitNesse, Selenium, and Cucumber.
  • Write test scripts in Java.
• Deploy test automation into a continuous integration environment and ensure test results are communicated clearly and promptly.
• Participate in sprint planning and coordinate QA risks/impacts for systems under test.
• Create test scenarios from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage multiple QA/test schedules across projects, including prioritization and organizing testing work.
• Coordinate QA/testing environment needs for each project.
• Walk through testing results with Product Owners and business stakeholders to gain sign-off.
• Ensure defects and/or requirement changes are tracked, verified, and resolved before production.

What You Will Bring

• 3–5 years of Salesforce software application testing experience.
• 2+ years performance testing experience (e.g., Selenium or Playwright), preferably with low-code platforms like Salesforce.
• Strong automation testing experience (highly desirable).
• Agile testing experience (required), including creating test cases from acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with Jira or other Agile delivery tools.
• Experience with multiple testing types: automated, exploratory, load, and performance testing for web services and applications.
• Strong background in UAT, including functional/system/regression testing and scenario/case design.
• Strong QA methodology and testing strategy development experience.
• Ability to multitask across projects with strong time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical and business teams.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

• Experience with: FitNesse, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Bamboo, Java, BlazeMeter, JMeter, Zephyr Squad.
• Experience with Agile and project management.
• Experience with 508 compliance testing.

Compensation

• $90,000 – $115,000 per year
