About the role
Role: Salesforce QA Engineer
Join SS&C’s Business Applications team to help deliver high-quality Salesforce-powered enterprise applications. You’ll design and execute testing for Salesforce features, enhancements, and integrations, collaborating closely with product owners, developers, administrators, and business analysts.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce features and enhancements
- Perform functional and regression testing across Salesforce and connected systems (e.g., billing, document generation, integrations)
- Validate end-to-end business processes across multiple systems (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, Zuora, DocuSign)
- Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and testable
- Identify, log, and track defects, partnering with developers for fixes and retesting
- Support release management and deployment validation in sandbox and production environments
- Build and maintain automated test coverage where appropriate
- Improve QA processes, documentation, and testing standards
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives)
Required Experience / Skills
- 3+ years of QA/testing experience with Salesforce
- Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, including CPQ
- Experience testing integrations and end-to-end business processes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Ability to translate business requirements into thorough test coverage
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Zuora and DocuSign
- Familiarity with test automation tools
- Knowledge of Salesforce data structures
