About the role

Role overview

The Sales Representative - Noble IQ Education Solutions builds and manages sales opportunities for integrated technology, training, and technical service solutions for education customers. You will work across the sales lifecycle—from prospecting and discovery through proposals, customer engagement, and forecasting—to achieve quarterly and annual revenue and gross profit targets.

Territory focus

Primary territory includes educational institutions throughout Kentucky and surrounding states, including:

  • K-12 public and private school districts
  • Colleges and universities
  • Educational service agencies and cooperatives
  • State and local education organizations
  • Campus safety and security stakeholders

Mission & customer emphasis

Help educational institutions improve safety, security, emergency preparedness, operational readiness, and technology utilization through comprehensive solution offerings (technology, training, implementation, and sustainment services).

Responsibilities

  • Exceed assigned revenue and gross profit goals quarterly and annually
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers across K-12 and higher education
  • Prospect for and create new sales opportunities within the territory
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities, quotes, proposals, and engagements using Salesforce CRM
  • Conduct customer discovery meetings to understand operational challenges, requirements, and funding opportunities
  • Develop and present integrated solutions combining technology, training, implementation, and sustainment
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and technical/vendor partners to support proposals and customer presentations
  • Identify grant opportunities, procurement vehicles, and funding sources
  • Attend educational conferences, school safety events, and industry trade shows/networking events
  • Develop market intelligence on educational trends, funding, legislation, and competitors
  • Forecast accurately and maintain customer records in company systems
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer sales process

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Experience selling solutions/services/technology/professional services (preferred)
  • Ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline independently
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience selling to educational institutions and/or public-sector organizations
  • Experience with government procurement environments
  • Knowledge of school safety/campus security and facilities-related needs
