Sales Engineering Manager, Cloud Product Line Specialists

Role overview

Rubrik is hiring a Sales Engineering Manager for the Cloud Product Line Specialists role. You will lead a team of Cloud Specialist Sales Engineers across the Americas region, providing technical direction and business guidance to regional sales teams to drive revenue and enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Sales Engineers in the Americas region
• Recruit, hire, and enable top Sales Engineers as coverage expands
• Provide technical leadership to help build customer and prospect technology solutions
• Support analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Rubrik products and offerings, including:
  • Distributed architectures
  • File systems
  • Hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management
  • Cloud and NAS product space
  • Competitive storage offerings
• Make technical and sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior leadership
• Act as a trusted technology advisor to customers and an internal resource for technical issues
• Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives
• Drive innovative technical programs and oversee day-to-day, account-level technical activities
• Evangelize and position Rubrik solutions for existing and new accounts

Requirements

• 3–5 years of sales engineering management experience (preferably in cloud infrastructure)
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in:
  • Cloud data management
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Data analytics
• Strong hands-on, high-energy, “can do/get it done” mindset
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment (multiple demos/calls per day)
• Strong business acumen and experience working with C-level stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
