Salesforce Product Owner

Drive the development and enhancement of IMEG’s software products by owning product strategy, requirements, and delivery execution.

Role overview

• Guide the product lifecycle from vision and backlog to releases and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision and strategy aligned to business objectives and customer needs
• Elicit, document, and prioritize product requirements with stakeholders, customers, and development teams
• Translate business needs into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Maintain and refine the product backlog to ensure the most valuable and feasible work is prioritized
• Partner with developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals and requirements
• Plan and coordinate releases (scope, objectives, timelines)
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and provide product status updates to stakeholders
• Work with QA to define test cases and acceptance criteria for a high-quality, defect-free release
• Advocate for user-centric design and usability; collaborate with UX/UI on intuitive interfaces
• Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in retrospectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 4+ years as a Product Owner (or similar) delivering complex software products
• Scrum Product Owner Certification preferred
• Strong Agile knowledge with experience in Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong stakeholder collaboration
• Analytical mindset to convert business requirements into detailed specifications
• Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence, and version control such as GitHub
• Strategic thinking and ability to align product work with business objectives
• Familiarity with design, development, testing, and deployment processes
• Problem-solving, adaptability, and proactive attitude
• Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to travel up to 25% (occasional overnight stays)
