Role Overview

Sachbearbeiter/in for payroll accounting & personnel support (m/w/d) in Paderborn.

Responsibilities

Payroll / Salary Accounting

• Independently run monthly payroll including complex items such as:
  • shift allowances
  • benefits in kind
  • company pension schemes
  • special payments
• Create and submit legally required reports to tax authorities and social insurance institutions
• Ensure compliance with all tax and social security regulations
• Act as contact person for tax authorities/social insurance carriers and support company audits (Betriebsprüfungen)

Personnel Management

• Advise and support a defined employee group on personnel and employment law topics
• Support the end-to-end personnel lifecycle:
  • recruitment/job finding
  • onboarding/employment
  • offboarding/termination
• Produce reports and evaluations to support workforce planning

Requirements

• Enjoy working with people and interest in HR, employment law, and interpersonal collaboration
• Multi-year experience in payroll/HR accounting (Lohn- und Gehaltsabrechnung / Lohnbuchhaltung)
• In-depth knowledge of tax and social insurance law
• Ideally relevant training/qualification such as:
  • Fachkraft für Lohn und Gehalt (FALG)
  • Geprüfte/r Entgeltabrechner/in
• Digital affinity and openness to new tools and processes
