About the role

Role overview

Join DataAnnotation’s coding team as a Rust Developer - AI Trainer. You’ll help advance AI systems by completing programming tasks that train and evaluate models, while working with flexible schedules and remote availability.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: previous experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Engineer/Programmer

Preferred qualifications

Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C++, C#, React, Go, Java, Swift

Work model & compensation

Fully remote (work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand)
Flexible schedule: choose which projects you take on and when you work
Paid hourly, up to $60 USD/hour, with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
