Role Overview

RPG Developer – WINS (Policy & Claims Processing)

Contract remote role supporting and enhancing Policy Administration and Claims Processing systems using the WINS (Workers' Insurance Network System) application.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance WINS application modules, especially Policy Administration and Claims Processing.
• Develop and maintain RPG applications on IBM i (AS/400).
• Work on policy lifecycle management and claims processing workflows.
• Handle system integrations and production support for insurance systems.
• Participate in application support, maintenance, and enhancement projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of RPG development on IBM i / AS400.
• Hands-on experience with WINS, specifically Policy Administration and Claims Processing modules.
• Strong programming skills in:
  • RPG III / RPG IV
  • RPGLE / ILE RPG
  • CLLE
  • SQLRPGLE
  • DB2/400
• Knowledge of IBM i system operations and job management.
• Insurance business process knowledge, including:
  • Policy Administration
  • Claims Processing
  • Underwriting Support
  • Billing & Premium Management
• Experience with application support, maintenance, and enhancements.
